My username and choice of Yoshi are deeply connected.

I played the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game from its launch in the early 2000s until 2016 and was an active member and moderator on Pojo.com, where my username was Lonely Wolf. Around 2008, when Super Smash Bros. Brawl was released, Pojo.com added a forum for the game, and I became highly active there.

In 2010, I launched a YouTube channel focused on funny SSBB videos. Since Lonely Wolf was already taken, I combined the website name (Pojo) with my username to create a unique identity that the Pojo.com community could recognize.

Light blue Yoshi became part of my identity because he was my main in Brawl, and I was well known for it on Pojo.com. Ever since, I’ve always chosen Yoshi in any game where he’s an option.
Interestingly, in the small SSBB community I was part of on YouTube, everyone called me Wolfy (my Brawl tag). But when I later joined the MMR community, I became known simply as Pojo.
